By default, transaction fees are passed on to the customer at checkout, so the customer pays the fee unless you choose to absorb it yourself. LuniPay transaction fees are made up of Stripe card processing, usually around 2.9%, cross-border or currency conversion costs, usually around 3-5% depending on the customer's card, country, and currency, and LuniPay's 1.9% platform fee for processing, support, and platform access. For example, if you charge $100, the customer may pay approximately $108-$110 at checkout depending on the card, country, and currency used.
After a customer pays, funds usually go through a standard security holding period of 2-7 days before they become available for withdrawal. This hold is standard across payment providers and is used by Stripe and card networks to help protect against chargebacks, unauthorized payments, and fraud risk. Once the funds become available, you can request a payout to your bank account. Payout requests are usually processed the same day, often within a few minutes to a couple of hours. After the payout has been processed and sent, it usually takes 3-5 business days to arrive in your bank account. LuniPay does not control how long the bank takes to post the funds after the payout has been sent; final arrival time depends on your bank's processing timeline, which can vary by bank and country.
Yes. You can set up your storefront, add products or services, configure bookings, and preview the customer experience on the Start plan. You only need Pro when you are ready to publish those pages publicly for customers.
Yes. Tap to Pay, payment links, and invoices are included on every plan. You still need to complete Stripe onboarding and use an eligible device before Tap to Pay can accept live payments.
